AMY'S STORY   A long, long time ago…. there was once a girl that had a crush on a boy.  :o)  So Scott would like to think he was such a popular guy in high school, but I just thought he was a nice cute boy with a nice body (thanks to the swim suit portion of the fashion show).  Thank goodness distance broke up his relationship because then I got my chance to date the guy I had a crush on throughout my entire senior year of high school.  I still remember our very first kiss in his dorm room during our sophomore year at UF while we all had the day off for a hurricane.  It helped that Kindra liked Phil and we could all hang out together.  That was the start of many long nights of conversations, kisses and lots of time together.  I still have the 1st teddy bear and basket he gave me on our 1st Christmas together many years ago.

I never thought in high school when I wrote “I love Scott” and “I want to marry Scott” in my diary that one day it would come true.  I treasure all the holidays, birthdays, trips, parties, Gator football games and all the time we have had together.  Being apart for all those years of vet school wasn’t easy, but it makes me appreciate the times we have alone now much more.  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world because I get to marry my best friend, 11 years goes by faster than you think.  You know they say the best relationships are measured in decades…  :O)

SCOTT'S STORY   Hmmm... let's see... how do I remember it all going down? It's been so long I hardly remember!  But as they (I) say, great relationships are measured in decades!  So now that we've eclipsed our first decade, we can finally tie the knot!  What took you so long honey?!?!  :O)

I remember working with Amy more than I remember having her in high school classes.  She was noticably shy around me and I figured something might be up, but I was dating another Amy (two strikes and you're out) at the time.  During our senior year we went on a DECA trip to Colorado with a bunch of friends to go skiing.  It was both of ours first time, so we ended up chillin' (freezing more like it) together.  Apparently I was a sweet heart (in a silver skii jacket that apparently looked like shining armor) towards the end of the day and stuck with her as she struggled down the mountain.  I was in shape back then, so I believe it -- if this all happened today I probably would be found in the lodge drinking a beer!

Anyways, enough about my second love (beer) -- back to my first (Amy).  We ended up hanging out again sophomore year of college with some mutual friends, and the rest is history...

.....And now I am 100% ready to get married....
